Full flexibility for your project with the embedded HMI Boards

The embedded HMI Boards give you full flexibility with regard to the choice of a specific display model and with regard to the way of integrating the embedded HMI technology into your device.

Unlike the Programmable Intelligent Displays and Intelligent Displays, which are display panels/modules coming in a ready-to-be-installed enclosure, the HMI Boards leave it up to you how to fix the board and display in your device.

The HMI Boards are designed as an add-on to your main application, being connected to your mainboard via serial connection (RS232, CAN2.0B, USB) and being steered though a set of provided control commands, integrated into the main code of your device.

Various HMI Boards for different application types

All embedded HMI Boards contain an integrated graphics processor and dedicated storage memory for your graphic user interface. The display (+ touchscreen) is directly connected to – and controlled by – the Clairitec boards as well.

You can choose between different types of HMI Boards, adapted to different types of applications:

  • IRON GRAPH: Connecting 2 cameras and displaying real-time video

  • STAR GRAPH: High resolutions (up to 800 x 600 px)

  • GRAPH LIGHT: Lower resolutions (up to 480 x 272 px)

  • FLEX GRAPH: Connection via flexible circuits, for high-volume production
  • MICRO MODULE: HMI Board directly attached to your mainboard (without cable connection)

Adaptable to all display models

You can install the HMI Boards either in combination with the standard display models used by Clairitec (9”, 7″, 4,3”, 3,5”), or you can work with a display model of your choice:

  • Adaptable to all types of TFT displays

  • Compatibility with RGB or LVDS interfaces

The possibility to adapt the embedded HMI Boards to any display model gives you a wide range of options for your device:

  • Working with a specific display size (for example 2,7″, 5,7″, …)

  • Using a display model of a specific manufacturer

  • Working with special display technologies (for example transflective displays, …)
